Reading Is Passion..

Books are the windows through which the soul looks out. ~ Henry Ward Beecher

Reading books makes man a better person. It encourages us to have a clear and complete view about things around us. We can find our best companion in books that can never leave our hand unless we decide to leave its hand. A home without books is like a body without soul. Books are the most accessible and wisest of counselors. Reading is a Passion for those who have the hunger for knowledge. Without reading there can be no learning and wisdom. Reading is fun, it makes us to escape from our problems and get solace in books. Reading is a good habit. Journey of reading begins with childhood fairy tales. Later school books, no matter how boring and torturous they might look but they teach us the most.

Show me a family of readers, and I will show you the people who move the world. ~Napoleon Bonaparte

Napoleon Bonaparte probably did not see my family - My mother along with her five children, the six of us reading books. Our passion for reading was such that we would all have books in our hands, be it reading or resting. I had so much passion for reading that I could read just anything. I was not aware of the concept of good or bad reading. I used to read all types of books - mythology, romance, film magazine, comics or even the books known as crap reading.

But then came the Satellite Television in India and life was never the same again. Reading was soon forgotten as we were swept by the emerging 24x7 TV and slowly, but steadily, increasing number of channels. By the time we realized, reading has already taken the back seat.

A home without books is like a body without soul. (<-- Mythological myth. .)
